Get Your Stretch On

Its fall and you know what that means....New Fashions!!! I used to not be big on this kinda of stuff but the older I get and come into my woman-hood lol, the more I'm like yes bring it on...

Growing up I love leggings. I mean who don't. They are so comfortable and can be matched with almost anything. Anyone of any size can wear them, its just what they wear with them that becomes the deciding factor of "oh no she didn't." I'm not a skinny chick by no means. I've got thick legs for days but you better believe I will rock a pair or two. Anywho, here is a sample of some leggings this fall.

Just when you thought they were jeans...
This gives it motion w/o doing too much.
You can rock this a cute solid top.
Of course there is some stone washed.
If you like edgy....Ripped
So will you be rocking some leggings and if so which ones...I got my eye on a few ;-)

Afraid of life....

I haven't blogged in quite some time. Its not because I've started something and back slide into giving it up. I enjoy blogging and see it as a good form of release. Often times its hard to get a grip on your thoughts until you see them written down on paper. This blog is my piece of paper.

"Life Is Short"

Sure we hear this all the time and most of us blow it off. When you are growing up it seems like it takes forever to become an adult. However has anyone noticed the moment you become an adult the years start racing past you. One day you are graduating talking about going to college or pursuing some entertainment dream, the next you look up and its your class reunion and you're wondering if anyone else has failed to accomplish all their dreams...smh

The problem is the "real world" is full of responsibilities and limited, restricted work and school schedules. How many people do you know started a job and said it was just temporary. Then temporary turned into 5 years because of a house, car, or just fear of not being able to obtain anything better. Or is that person you? Life is meant to make mistakes, and take risk no matter the circumstance. More importantly make those mistakes while you're young. If you don't live and take chance while you're young you are heading down a lane of would've, should've, could've which is basically bound to end up with a major midlife crisis or overall depression.

There is nothing to fear but fear itself...Live like you will never live again cause guess what...YOU WON'T!!!

Mini Vacay

So I recently took a little 4 day weekend vacay and I spent it with my best friend Derek. I know Detroit don't have the best reputation but it still has much to offer and wonderful things to see. Funny thing is I got caught up and trying to show him the sites of the city and began to get frustrated when I realized how much there was to do here. I haven't even scratched the surface of places but I tried to pick what was convenient for our schedule.

Currently I don't even live in the city but instead Ann Arbor which I truly love so of course we had to spend some time enjoying the sites here and we discovered such nice culture in this town. Then we headed to the GM headquarters which is located in the Renaissance building after stopping off at the infamous John F. King Used Book Store. I spent my Saturday at Cedar Point amusement park. Sunday was a family day and Monday was strictly recovery.

So how was your weekend?
